Every syllable, placed
The words sit on a sixteenth-note grid with their note values, so a rhythm you can't quite hear becomes something you can read, count and clap.
Singing practice, on the grid
rythmify takes a recording and lays its words out on the beat, syllable by syllable, with note values, chords and the sung melody. You see exactly where each syllable lands, then slow it down, loop a line, turn the voice down and sing it yourself.
Press play, or click anywhere on the grid to jump there. Space plays and pauses; the arrow keys move a bar.

Slow a song to half speed without changing its pitch. Move it up or down to fit your range; the chords and notes move with it.
The singer's voice is separated from the band. Keep it as a guide, fade it out when you're ready, or loop one line until it sits.
Chords with their bass notes, a strumming pattern that fits the song, and a note mark on every syllable that plays the sung pitch when you hold it.
Accounts are by invitation during the preview. Later, songs will be sold in small packs; practising a song you've added never costs anything again.

Drop in a song. It finds the beat, the bars and the words, then lays the lyrics out on a rhythm grid you can play, slow down and loop.
It runs on our side, so you can leave this page. Each song moves to your list as soon as it is ready.
The words could not be matched to the singing with confidence, so this timing is a rough guess (dashed blocks). Use Fix lyrics to paste the correct words or change the language.
